For sale is a beautiful LARGE Eskimo hand made coiled basket with a knob lid.
The imbricated basket is decorated with dyed cedar strands of red and green geometric design with same on top of the lid.
The very large Eskimo basket measures approx 12″ H and 41 inches in diameter at the widest.
This lidded basket has a very nice patina:large Eskimo baskets of this quality, size, and vintage are difficult to find in this condition.
This mid 20th century basket would be a nice addition to any native basket or art collection.
