Description

For sale is an Inuit or Eskimo whalebone sculpture of a hunter and seal.

The material is likely from marine material washed up on shore and the patina indicates this is an older piece.
The measurements are 8″D X 7″H X 6″ W and in excellent condition.
These larger pieces are difficult to carve due to the fragile nature of the material.  As a result there are not many of these sculptures to be found.
I have been selling aboriginal art online since 1999 so buy with confidence.
Thank you for looking and please follow my store as new art is added often.
