For sale is an outstanding example of an Eagle Kachina. This eagle kachina is made by Hopi artist Coolidge Roy Jr. (1950-); he is the son of a famous carver and has been carving for 30 years and it shows in his works. Coolidge is known for his exquisite detailed carving and this is a fabulous example. The kachina also incorporates color from the natural world by using faint pigments. The artist creates his pieces while being mindful of the elders traditions. The measurements are 9 inches @ the highest point X 7″ wide and in excellent condition.
